About the Opportunity
ContiTech Australia has multiple opportunities for Mechanical or Belt Splicing Supervisors to join their teams across Australia.
These roles can be offered on a residential (based in Gove, NT) or FIFO basis. You can be located anywhere in Australia for the FIFO positions with opportunities available to work in Mackay, Pilbara, Gove or NSW.
As a Belt Splicing Supervisor, your main focus in this role will be in providing fabric and steel conveyor belt splice supervision and training.
As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be leading and mentoring a team of individuals responsible for the repairs and maintenance of equipment.
Both roles will be involved in installations, shutdowns, maintenance and repairs across various sites.
About You
The successful candidates will be trade qualified with belt splicing or mechanical experience as well as experience overseeing and managing a team.
You must also hold the following licences or certifications:
- Forklift licence
- Dogman and riggers licence
- Working at heights
Candidates will also have experience in preventative maintenance and compiling reports. Experience with condition monitoring, SAP and/or OHS systems will be highly desired.
